A Program of Culture for Girls
Created and Instructed by Sheena Monnin
Manners are primarily a matter of treating others well- as you yourself would prefer to be treated. Beyond this basic principle lie specific rules and guidelines that help one to know how to treat others. These rules and guidelines are known as etiquette.
While informality has been the norm in some circles of society, proper protocol has remained an important element in the lives of most successful people.
The Essence of Etiquettehas as its purpose the creation of competent ladies of the future. In addition to learning dining skills, the girls acquire basic social and conversation skills encompassing proper respect for others, telephone etiquette, thank you note writing, the art of self-presentation, and poise. It is crucial that these skills are attained at an early age. This course will equip the girls with the knowledge and personal confidence that they will need in the pursuit of their individual futures.
The Essence of Etiquetteis a six-weeks program encompassing dining and social etiquette. Upon conclusion and graduation of this extensive program, young ladies will emerge and enter the world with a heightened sense of worth, ready to face the challenges of life with grace and confidence. This exciting program will change any life it touches!
